How to create a private group
Set up a private Telegram group — for a paid community with chat and moderation.

A group is a two-way chat where members talk to each other. A private group can be both sold (paid access) and moderated by TribeSync.
Steps
- In Telegram, tap the pencil/compose icon → New Group.
- Add at least one member to create it (you can remove them later), then set a name.
- Open the group → Edit → Group Type and choose Private.
- Finish. Buyers will be added automatically after they pay.
🔧 What happens under the hood
As your group grows, Telegram automatically upgrades it to a supergroup and changes its internal id. You don't need to do anything — TribeSync detects the change and keeps your paid access and moderation working. See group becomes a supergroup.
💡 Tip
A private group is the best choice when you want a real community with discussion and moderation. If you only need one-way paid content, a private channel is simpler.
