I build TribeSync in the open. Here's what's new and what already works.
October 22, 2026
Clearer chat connection and a gentler bot disconnect
- ✓If a chat doesn't connect, the setup tells you why right away: a public channel, a public group for paid access, or a bot already bound to another chat. And what to do next.
- ✓Public groups now connect only in “Moderation only” mode. Selling access to an open group makes no sense, anyone can join it.
- ✓If your bot and chat are connected but there's no price yet, you'll get a reminder with a “Set the price” button.
- ✓Disconnecting a bot is now gentle. Subscribers keep access, Stars auto-renewals are cancelled, and subscribers get a short message about it. Nobody is removed from the chat.
- ✓Before you disconnect, we show exactly what will happen and how many active subscribers the bot has.
- ✓Connect the same bot again and its plans and subscribers come back as they were.
- ✓If Telegram turns your group into a supergroup, the bot follows it automatically. Moderation and sales keep working.
- ✓The website is updated: the home page now shows the whole path from creating a bot to the first payment, and plans list only what sets them apart.

Step-by-step onboarding and bot command menus
- ✓New step-by-step onboarding in the Mini App: bot, chat, price, done. One action per step, with a clear hint.
- ✓Create a bot in one tap, no token copying. Already have a bot? Use the “Not working? Create a bot manually with @BotFather” link.
- ✓An invalid token shows up right away, before you submit.
- ✓The price step shows crypto first, then Stars. Auto-renewal works with Stars only, so turning it on disables crypto.
- ✓The final screen gives you the bot link for buyers. If you set a USDT price, it also prompts you to connect Crypto Pay.
- ✓Pressed “Start” in your new bot? It now offers a way back to TribeSync to finish setup.
- ✓Bots now have a command menu. Subscribers get /status (my subscriptions and dates), /buy, /paysupport (payment questions) and /terms.
- ✓“Revoke access” now removes the member from the chat first, then cancels their Stars auto-renewal. If that fails, you'll see a warning.
- ✓On a paid plan you can message @TribeSyncBot directly, it reaches our support.

Clearer billing period choice and more reliable access removal
- ✓The billing period is now hard to miss: the Mini App shows a large “Monthly / Yearly” switch labelled “Billing period” above the plans.
- ✓Monthly prices are shown by default. If you already have a plan, your own period — monthly or yearly — opens right away.
- ✓Fixed a bug where the payment buttons on your plan stayed disabled after it expired. You can now renew an expired plan right away.
- ✓Removing access after a subscription ends is more reliable: if Telegram temporarily refuses to remove a member, the bot retries on the next check instead of skipping them.
- ✓Auto-renewing Stars subscriptions get a 24-hour buffer before removal, so a renewal payment that arrives a little late never costs a subscriber their access.
- ✓A member whose subscription ended can pay again and rejoin right away — no manual unban needed.

Bot management, connecting & support
- ✓Your bot now remembers its channel or group: the binding sticks even if you delete all subscriptions — no need to reconnect the bot.
- ✓New “Disconnect bot” action — free up a slot or swap the bot without getting lost in settings.
- ✓The token is validated as you type: you instantly see it's valid and the bot's name is filled in; we also added a paste-from-clipboard button.
- ✓A price is now required for a paid subscription — you can't accidentally create a plan with no price.
- ✓The “Add bot & channel” button is hidden once you've hit your plan's bot limit.
- ✓Importing subscribers now requires the bot to already be connected to its chat.
- ✓Support is closer: a “Help & support” button in the Mini App and a “Support” tab in the web panel.

Reliability & billing
- ✓The bot is more resilient: if a subscriber blocks it or taps an outdated button, it no longer causes errors.
- ✓Fixed a rare billing bug: extending a trial can no longer reset the status of an account that has already paid.

Subscriptions grouped by community, and one bot = one community
- ✓Subscriptions are now grouped by community in both the Mini App and the web panel — with colored type badges: moderation, group, channel.
- ✓You can add a new subscription to an already-connected community without setting everything up again.
- ✓One bot = one community: moderation applies only to the bound chat, and you get a notification if the bot is added to a second chat.
- ✓Renewal reminders can be configured per subscription.
- ✓Deleted subscriptions can no longer be purchased — buyers are funneled to your current options.
- ✓Smoother onboarding: the “Adding…” indicator stays until the bot is actually bound to the chat.

- ✓Clearer access delivery: if a personal invite link can't be created, the subscriber sees ‘access is active — tap Join' and the bot approves them automatically.
