Create a subscription

Set a price, a period and a payment method — your first subscription for buyers.

Updated: August 20, 2026

A subscription is what your subscribers buy to get into your private channel or group. You create the first one when you connect your bot, and you can add more anytime.

Steps

  1. In the panel or Mini App, open Subscriptions.
  2. Enter a name (e.g. VIP month).
  3. Set the price: in Telegram Stars, in USDT (crypto), or both — subscribers pick at checkout.
  4. Choose the period:
    • One-off — access for a fixed number of days.
    • Auto-renewing (monthly) — a Stars subscription that renews itself.
  5. Save.
ℹ️ Good to know

Only Stars support auto-renewal. If you pick "auto-renewing", checkout is Stars-only — crypto isn't available for that type (Crypto Pay has no recurring charges). For crypto, use the one-off period.

Several subscriptions on one community

You can add several subscriptions to an already-connected channel or group — e.g. "monthly" and "annual", or different access tiers. No need to re-enter the bot token.

  • Open Subscriptions → on the community's card tap "➕ Add a plan".
  • The new subscription is active right away and appears to subscribers in the bot on /start next to the others.

On the Subscriptions page, communities are grouped and tagged by type: 🛡 Moderation only, 👥 Private group, 📣 Private channel.

🔧 What happens under the hood

The first subscription starts as waiting for chat and becomes active when you add the bot as admin to the channel/group (TribeSync binds it automatically). Further subscriptions on the same community are created active right away — the chat is already bound. Prices are stored per subscription, and we take 0% of your sales: the money goes straight to you.

💡 Tip

Offering both Stars and crypto widens your reach: Stars is one tap for most users, crypto (USDT/TON) avoids the ~30% mobile markup and suits larger payments.
