Connect your bot to TribeSync
The Mini App wizard walks you through 3 steps: it creates a bot in one tap, connects it to your channel or group and helps you set a price.

Connecting happens in a three-step Mini App wizard: Bot → Chat → Price. No pasting chat ids or copying tokens by hand.
What you'll need
- A private channel or group to connect the bot to (see why private). Don't have one yet? On the first wizard screen choose "Not yet — how do I create one?": the wizard shows how to create a chat and brings you back.
Step 1. Bot
Create a bot in one tap (recommended)
- Tap "Create bot".
- Telegram opens a "Create bot" window. Tap Create, you can change the name.
- Telegram opens your new bot's chat. Tap Start, then "Back to TribeSync".
- The wizard picks up the bot within a few seconds and moves to the Chat step. No token to copy.
If you closed the Telegram window without creating the bot, the wizard shows a "Try again" button.
Create a bot manually with @BotFather
If one-tap creation didn't work or your Telegram version doesn't have it, tap "Not working? Create a bot manually with @BotFather".
- Create a bot in @BotFather (see how to create a bot).
- Paste the token into the "Bot token" field (there's a "Paste" button). The wizard won't accept an invalid token: "Save and continue" activates once the token is verified.
Use a new bot. A bot already running in another service will stop working there once connected (see bot rules).
Step 2. Chat
- Tap "To a channel" or "To a group".
- Telegram opens its "add bot" dialog with the admin rights already ticked: invite users, restrict members, delete messages, manage chat, pin.
- Pick the chat and confirm. The wizard checks the connection automatically.
If the chat doesn't fit (for example, it's public), the wizard shows the reason right away. What to do in each case: the bot won't accept my channel or group.
If you clear the pre-ticked rights or add the bot as a plain member, it can't create invites or remove people. You don't need to remove the bot or redo setup: give it admin rights, and TribeSync binds the chat by itself.
Step 3. Price
Set the subscription name and price. Details: create a subscription. After that the wizard shows the bot link for your subscribers.
Connecting in the web panel
The web panel at tribesync.app still uses a single form: "+ Add a bot and plan". You paste the token and create a plan in one go. One-tap creation isn't available there.
Moderation only
Only need moderation, no paid access? On the first wizard screen choose "I only need group moderation" (see moderation without paid access).
Need to free a slot or switch bots? The bot card has "Disconnect bot". What it means for your subscribers: disconnect or replace a bot.
