Connect your bot to TribeSync

Register your bot in the Mini App, then tap a button to connect it to your channel or group.

Updated: August 7, 2026

Once you have a bot token from @BotFather, connecting it takes two steps: register the bot in the TribeSync Mini App, then tap a button that adds it to your chat as an administrator. You don't paste chat ids or dig through Telegram's admin menu by hand.

What you'll need

  • Your bot token.
  • A private channel or group (see why private).

Step 1 — Register your bot in the TribeSync Mini App

Bot setup lives in the Mini App, not the web panel. Open our main bot in Telegram and launch its Mini App.

  1. On the setup screen, paste your bot token.
  2. Create your first plan — name, price (Stars and/or USDT), and duration.
  3. Tap Create to save.

Only want moderation, with no paid access? Skip the plan and use Connect for moderation instead — enter the token and connect the bot to a group (open groups work too); no price or welcome message needed.

Step 2 — Connect the bot to your chat

Right after you save, a dedicated screen appears with buttons — Connect channel and Connect group (or Add to group for moderation-only).

  1. Tap the button that matches your chat.
  2. Telegram opens its "add bot" dialog with the required admin rights (invite users, restrict/ban members, delete messages, pin, manage chat) already ticked.
  3. Pick your channel/group and confirm.
🔧 What happens under the hood

The moment your bot becomes an administrator, TribeSync automatically binds that chat to your plan — it captures the chat id and title in the background, so you don't paste any ids by hand. The Mini App keeps auto-checking and snaps to your dashboard once the bind lands.

⚠️ Watch out

If you clear the pre-ticked rights or add the bot as a plain member, it can't create invite links or remove people. Just tap Connect again and confirm with the rights left on.

Once bound, your plan goes live and you can share your bot link with subscribers.
