Recurring vs one-off subscriptions

TribeSync supports two billing styles per plan.

Auto-renewing (Stars, 30 days)

Telegram charges the subscriber every 30 days by itself, and access renews without reminders. This kind of subscription exists only in Stars, so a plan with auto-renewal can't take crypto: turning on the “Auto-renewal” switch disables crypto. To accept crypto as well, create a separate plan for it.

The subscriber can cancel auto-renewal at any time: Telegram → Settings → Telegram Stars → Subscriptions. Access stays until the end of the paid period.

Auto-renewal is also cancelled automatically, without the subscriber:

• when you press “Revoke access” for a subscriber;
• when you disconnect the bot from TribeSync.

One-off (fixed period)

A single payment for a set number of days. This is how yearly Stars and all crypto work. Before the term ends, the subscriber gets a reminder with a “Renew subscription” button, if your plan includes reminders.
