Subscriber limits per plan

Each platform plan includes a cap on active paid subscribers — here's how it behaves.

Updated: July 24, 2026

Your TribeSync platform plan sets how many active paid subscribers you can have at once. It's the main lever of our pricing (since we take 0% per transaction).

How it behaves at the cap

  • New subscribers are blocked with a "sign-ups closed" message.
  • Renewals of existing subscribers always go through — nobody loses access.
  • Raise the cap by upgrading your platform plan in the Account section.
🔧 What happens under the hood

The cap counts active, non-expired subscriptions across your workspace. A purchase is treated as a renewal (allowed) when that person already has a subscription with you; otherwise it's a new subscriber and subject to the cap. CSV imports are capped the same way (current + file must fit).

ℹ️ Good to know

The cap is separate from the moderation member limit, which caps the size of a group you moderate. The two are independent.
