The bot joined as a member, not admin

Access and moderation need admin rights — here's how to fix a member-level bot.

If your bot was added as a normal member, it can't create invite links or remove anyone — so nothing binds and access won't work. It will usually message you asking to be promoted.

Fix

  1. Open the chat → Administrators → Add admin.
  2. Add your bot and grant delete messages and ban/restrict members (plus invite users for channels).
  3. That's it — TribeSync binds the chat automatically once the bot is an admin.
