What happens when a subscription expires

When a one-off subscription runs out and isn't renewed, TribeSync closes access by itself.

What the subscriber sees

1. The bot removes the person from the channel or group.
2. The subscription is marked expired.
3. They get a message with a “Subscribe again” button, so coming back takes one tap.

Removal is a quick “ban, then unban”. The person leaves the chat but isn't banned forever, so after paying again they can rejoin.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

An auto-renewing Stars subscription doesn't expire while Telegram keeps charging it every 30 days. If a charge arrives late, the subscriber gets a 24-hour buffer after the end date: that's enough time for the renewal to land, so a paying member is never removed. If they cancelled auto-renewal or the payment failed, the subscription ends like a one-off one once the buffer is over.

Who the bot won't remove

• The chat owner and admins. Telegram doesn't let bots remove them, so their subscription is simply marked expired.
• Subscribers of a disconnected bot. If you disconnected the bot from TribeSync, nobody is removed when their term ends: people stay in the chat, and you can only remove them manually.
